Fr. Robert Bengry: Troubling Times
Many say that we live in troubling times. Perhaps this is true... but what age and locale haven't been? We certainly struggle in different ways in our time and in our place, but our fallen nature and this fallen world has always resulted in trouble. It's simply the reality.
But do not lose heart.
God is always reaching out to you and to all people. We, just like those the Lord called from the Sea of Galilee, are called to follow the Lord of love and life. But more than that, God equips us to do what He asks of us, no matter how difficult the task. And when we've done our best, He will supply all that remains in want.
Are you a disciple of Christ? If you are, what does that mean to you? And what difference does it make in your life and in the lives of other people?

The photo above is one that I snapped on my first morning on pilgrimage in the Holy Land. I had just finished my Morning Office and saying prayers for everyone I carried in my heart on the trip. My experience in the Holy Land is something etched upon my heart; to walk where our Lord walked, and to see what He saw, was truly awesome. Fr. Bengry
